BotSim: Mitigating The Formation Of Conspiratorial Societies with Useful Bots

Societies can become a conspiratorial society where there is a majority of humans that believe, and therefore spread, conspiracy theories. Artificial intelligence gave rise to social media bots that can spread conspiracies in an automated fashion. Currently, organizations combat the spread of conspiracies through manual fact-checking...

Affirmative Results on a Conjecture on the Column Space of the Adjacency Matrix

The Akbari-Cameron-Khosrovshahi (ACK) conjecture, which appears to be unresolved, states that for any simple graph $G$ with at least one edge, there exists a nonzero {$\{0,1\}$}-vector in the row space of its adjacency matrix that is not a row of the matrix itself. In this talk, we present a unified framework that includes several...

Partial $μ-τ$ symmetry from kinetic normalization

We consider models with broken $μ$-$τ$ permutation symmetry through higher dimensional operators renormalizing the lepton kinetic terms in the action. We study the consequences on the structure of the neutrino mass matrix and find in particular that the allowed region for the lightest mass in the normal hierarchy plotted as a...

SYNAPSE: Empowering LLM Agents with Episodic-Semantic Memory via Spreading Activation

While Large Language Models (LLMs) excel at generalized reasoning, standard retrieval-augmented approaches fail to address the disconnected nature of long-term agentic memory. To bridge this gap, we introduce Synapse (Synergistic Associative Processing Semantic Encoding), a unified memory architecture that transcends static vector...

Counting Polynomial-type Exceptional Units on Algebraic Varieties over Number Fields

Previous research on exceptional units has primarily focused on the ring of rational integers or abstract finite rings, often restricted to linear or quadratic constraints. In this paper, we extend the concept of polynomial-type exceptional units to the ring of integers of an arbitrary algebraic number field. We investigate the number...

Generalized Double Duals of the Riemann Tensor in Geometry and Gravity

The Riemann curvature tensor fully encodes local geometry, but its Ricci contraction retains only limited information: only the Ricci tensor and the scalar curvature survive, while the Weyl curvature vanishes identically. We show that contracting instead the double dual of the Riemann tensor unlocks the full curvature structure,...

Stacks of p-adic shtukas and spatial kimberlites

The main purpose of this article is to show that the special Newton polygon map from the stack of p-adic shtukas to the stack of G-bundles on the Fargues--Fontaine curve is representable in diamonds and sufficiently nice for cohomological considerations (i.e. fdcs). The second purpose is to show that the $\bar{\mathbb{F}}_p$-fibers of...

Revisiting Forest Proximities via Sparse Leaf-Incidence Kernels

Decision forests induce supervised similarities through the partition structure of their trees. Yet forest proximity computation is still often treated as a quadratic operation in the number of samples, which limits scalability and restricts broader use in kernel and representation-learning pipelines. We introduce a unified view of...

Super-Orbital Variations in Magnetar Rotation Measure Arising from the Precession of Companion Star: Implications for FRB 20220529

Recent observations of FRB 20220529 reveal significant variation and a partial reversal in its rotation measure (RM), suggesting the presence of a dynamically evolving magnetized environment, which could be caused by the orbital motion of the magnetar within the binary system. Here we develop the binary model by suggesting that the...

Almost complex totally geodesic surfaces in the nearly Kähler $\frac{\text{SL}(3,\mathbb R)}{\mathbb R\times \text{SO}(2)}$

We give a detailed description of the nearly Kähler $\frac{\mathrm{SL}(3,\mathbb R)}{\mathbb R\times \mathrm{SO}(2)}$, which is one of the pseudo-Riemannian counterparts of the flag manifold $F(\mathbb{C}^3)$. The main result is the classification of totally geodesic almost complex surfaces in this space.

CRoPE: Efficient Parametrization of Rotary Positional Embedding

Rotary positional embedding has become the state-of-the-art approach to encode position information in transformer-based models. While it is often succinctly expressed in complex linear algebra, we note that the actual implementation of $Q/K/V$-projections is not equivalent to a complex linear transformation. We argue that complex...
